Hi there, I’m Justina, an award-winning Essex maternity and newborn photographer, and I’m absolutely passionate about photography, especially when it comes to capturing the beauty and joy of maternity, motherhood, and newborns. From the tender moments of anticipating mothers to the first sleepy smiles of newborns, I’ve dedicated over a decade to preserving these precious milestones through timeless photography.

 

My journey into photography began in my teenage years when I found myself captivated by the art of freezing moments in time. Over the years, my interest blossomed into an enduring passion, driving me to perfect my craft and develop a style that is simple, timeless, and deeply emotive.

 

As a mum to two lively boys, I understand the significance of preserving those fleeting moments that make up the tapestry of family. It’s this understanding and empathy that I bring to my photography, capturing the genuine love, warmth, and tenderness that bind families together.

 

I’ve been honoured to receive recognition for my work, with awards celebrating my maternity photography and features in esteemed publications and TV shows. In 2025, I was proud to be named a finalist in the prestigious SWPP 20x16 Print Competition, with my maternity portrait placing among the top three finalists in the UK for the Best Maternity Photographer category. This achievement reflects my commitment to creating exceptional, artistic maternity portraits that celebrate the beauty of motherhood. These accolades are a testament to my dedication and the heartfelt connection I strive to create through my art.

 

As an Essex maternity photographer and newborn photographer, I have the privilege of documenting some of life’s most meaningful milestones—from the excitement of pregnancy to the tiny details of a brand-new baby. My goal is to create timeless images that families can treasure for generations, preserving memories that become even more valuable with each passing year.

 

In addition to creating captivating images, I also find immense joy in sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring photographers. I firmly believe in nurturing creativity and helping others find their own unique photographic voice, which is why I love hosting workshops and providing mentorship to budding talents.
