As a Newborn Photographer in Ongar, Essex, I truly believe being a newborn baby photographer is the best job in the world!

Whenever I hear a baby has been born it fills me with joy. Those first few awe-filled days are so special, when you bring a new little life into the world. You get home and spend hours just staring at this tiny bundle, not quite believing they are yours. You are filled with hopes and dreams for the future, everything feels new and exciting.

Time goes so quickly… we can’t slow it down, but a newborn photoshoot allows you to hold onto these moments forever. A beautiful newborn photography session will capture those tiny details and emotions that you never want to forget.

That is exactly what I aim to create during your newborn photoshoot in my professional photography studio in Ongar, Essex, close to London.

I specialise in newborn baby photography and I have over 13 years of photography experience, with years of training in newborn posing and safe baby-led photography. Your baby’s comfort and safety is always my number one priority, and every newborn photo session is calm, gentle, and completely stress-free.

​When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?

I always recommend booking your newborn photography session early to guarantee availability around your baby’s arrival. I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month, so I can give every family the time and care they deserve.

Because babies rarely arrive exactly on time, I book your session provisionally around the 10th day after your due date. If your baby arrives earlier or later, we can easily reschedule to a firm date.

If your baby has already arrived, please contact me as I sometimes have last-minute availability for a newborn photoshoot in Ongar, Essex.

Pricing

To book your Newborn Session you will need to pay a deposit of £99 on a weekday or £149 on the weekend. This deposit will be deducted from your final photography package price.

Newborn sessions usually take between 3–3.5 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling and gentle baby-led posing. I highly recommend booking a full session, as it gives your baby time to relax and fall asleep naturally.

A mini session is strictly 1 hour, and I will capture as much as possible within that time. If you are on a budget and would like only a few images of your newborn baby, then a mini session may be the perfect option.

After your session, I will show you your images and you will then choose your photography package. The smallest package purchase is required on the day of your session.

Within one week after your session, I will create an online gallery with all your images, and you can select the ones you would like edited. You will have one week to make your selections. Your final edited images will be ready within 2 weeksof your selection.

If you would like your session on a weekend, there is a small additional fee of £50 added to your package price.
